Look at all the puppies hair! I love the elephant and the dolphin, too!

I saw this special on Discovery a year or so ago. It was pretty fascinating! If I remember correctly, an elephant carries her baby for something like 15 months! Can you imagine being pregnant for 15 months!?

I remember seeing ads for this special. I wonder if it's on DVD...

Oh wow! That's incredible! Are these real or artwork, I wonder? Because I'm wondering the same thing as Jinx - where are the rest of the puppies?

I saw this whole series and was completely amazed!

I heard some of that show as real, and some is computer simulation, but I don't know which ones are real and which aren't (of all they showed on the show).

Still cute!

Oh, and I cannot imagine carrying anything for 15 months, much less a whole freaking elephant.

I was thinking the same thing about it being mighty room for the puppy, but do I know about dog anatomy, you know?

Oooo so these (most likely) aren't real Aw darn, that elephant was the cutest thing ever.

I was just thinking that they were too sharp to be real. But they're adorable just the same!

The pictures are definitely real.

They used 3D and 4D Ultrasound technology to take the pictures.

Neat ultrasound info - but, the images are definitely enhanced (seriously) with computer graphics.

BTW, a friend of mine worked at a vet clinic when she was pregnant and used to ultrasound herself like three times a week in addition to her frequent high-risk ultrasounds with an OBGYN.

Oh yes - they are definitely enhanced, but no less real. It's amazing how advanced technology is getting. The ultrasound pictures and video I got of Audrey when I was pregnant are absolutely amazing!

I am too nerdy detail-oriented for this blog.
