Okay, the news about this INFURIATED me this morning. Why does Paris Hilton not only have to NOT serve the 45 days the judge initially sentenced her to, but now she only has to serve 3 DAYS!!! This is ridiculous. I have no vengene against this woman, I really don't like her very much and think she is a TERRIBLE role model for young girls, but I have a BIG problem with people being treated differently under the law in this country. Just because she is famous, for absolutely no reason I might point out, why is she entitled to be above the law and do whatever she pleases all the time while the rest of the "normal" people in this country have to serve the consequences of our actions? It just burns me up inside to even think about this situation.

TMZ and pop report that a "deal" was made between Paris and the jailers? I thought the initial deal was that she didn't have to go to jail in the first place after her DUI, the deal was that she would be placed on probation for a given amount of time, and she broke THAT deal. Why does she continue to get deals that no other person in the same situation as her would get???

I can only hope that this whole situation has diminished her "likeability" enough to where she falls off of the radar forever.

Paris Hilton has been fitted for ankle bracelet and reassigned to house arrest, after authorities decided to release Hilton from prison due to medical reasons, this according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. spokesperson, Steve Whitmore.

Whitmore says he cannot release details about Paris' medical issue due to confidentiality.

****She is to be under house arrest for 40 days in the lap of luxury in her own home and Steve Witmore says that after that she will have "fulfilled her debt to society". If we were really to ask her to pay all of the debts she has unleashed upon this country, I think maybe she should stay under house arrest for 40 years. Just a thought.

This woman is such a joke.
