I am tempted to buy this but am a bit concerned. One with the price and two if it will actually result in a positive way. Has anyone tried it?

It's a high tech hair removal thingy. Supposedly uses heat waves or something...? I saw it in the Sephora catalog. Check it out here.
I know so very little about self-grooming products other than the low-tech ones that have been around for 50 or more years.
does it groom cakes??
