My sister is getting married on December 15th this year, and she had a thought last night that it might be cute if she has a Christmas tree at her reception, so that people who brought her wedding gifts could put them under the tree, like they are Christmas presents. What do you all think?

I think she wants the whole thing kind of Christmas themed anyway, she just ordered save the date invitations that have snowflakes all over them, so I think she is pretty festive about the season! My birthday is one week after that on the 22nd!

I had a destination wedding and at our reception (state side) we had a palm tree, which worked out really well! I don't see why you shouldn't incorporate the christmas tree
